Using Better Korean Dictionary
These terms apply to the Better Korean Dictionary mobile app, website, and lesson-sharing tools. By using these services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the services.
You must be legally able to agree to these terms. The services are not directed to children under 13.
Educational information
Dictionary entries, translations, contextual notes, examples, and Hanja information are provided for learning and reference. They may contain mistakes or may not fit every context. You are responsible for checking information before relying on it for an important decision.
Your videos and TikTok drafts
You keep ownership of videos you upload. You give Better Korean Dictionary a limited permission to receive, temporarily store, and transmit a selected video to TikTok solely to provide the draft-sharing feature. Uploaded files are deleted from Better Korean Dictionary storage within one day.
You may upload only content that you created or have permission to use. Do not upload unlawful, harmful, deceptive, infringing, or privacy-violating content. TikTok's own terms, community rules, music rules, and posting limits also apply. Better Korean Dictionary does not publish the draft for you. You decide whether and how to post it inside TikTok.
Acceptable use
You may not misuse the services, interfere with their operation, evade limits, attempt unauthorized access, distribute malware, or use them to violate another person's rights or applicable law.
Third-party services
Apple, Google, Google Mobile Ads, TikTok, and other linked services operate under their own terms and privacy practices. Better Korean Dictionary is not responsible for the availability, content, decisions, or operation of those third-party services.
Availability and changes
Features may change, stop, or become unavailable. Access may be limited or ended when needed to protect users, the services, or third parties, or when these terms are violated. These terms may be updated when the services or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated when that happens.
Disclaimers and liability
The services are provided as available without promises that they will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or warranties that cannot legally be excluded.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the publisher is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the services or from third-party platforms. These terms are governed by the laws of California, excluding its conflict-of-law rules.
